G and G Shipping make weekly deliveries from Fort Lauderdale using Roll-on roll-off ferries. The goods are on flat bed trailers and containers which are then delivered to the customers premises

Reggie Express fly from Fort Lauderdale every Tuesday to Exuma International. They specialize in delivering items that are needed urgently or that do not weigh too much. They will shop for you for a small fee and if required they also make deliveries on Wednesday or Thursday. They also take passengers (subject to Availability)

Batelco is the Government owned telephone company. Visitors should be aware that in order for your cell phone to work in Exuma you need to be using a service provider who has a reciprocal agreement with Batelco. At this time it is believed that Cellular 1, Cantel, Bell South Mobility and Verizon has such a contract. check with Batelco for the latest.

Internet connections are available at the Batelco office in town but you should be aware that the service leaves a lot to be desired. Expect to be dropped frequently and with very low transmission speeds.
Most hotels have installed satellite service so ask if you can check your e mail with them.
