In the 18th century William Walker sailed to Exuma and settled in Crab Cay where he built his home and with the help of his slaves, established a botanic garden and a cotton plantation. Crab Cay is located in the sheltered waters of Elizabeth Harbour with Great Exuma on one side and Stocking Island on the Atlantic side.
After 250 years of dormancy Crab Cay is awakening from its slumber.
Crab Cay is being developed as an exquisite, top of the range luxury location.
With a $240 million budget the island will have only 20 beach club cottages and 34 luxury villas, all with access to the crystal clear waters. Plots are available, starting at $1.8 million.
